Rob, first of all thank you so much for organizing the trip. We had absolutely no issues with the hotels, golf courses or the drivers. All the drivers were always on time to pick us up for the various transfers. I was thankful that we had arranged to have the private transfers and not have to worry about finding a cab, etc. – Bangkok is crazy!
All of the hotels were very nice and the food was also very good at each location. Both the beaches in Hua Hin and Phuket for great. Clean sand, warm water and no seaweed, rocks, etc.
With regards to the golf courses, all were fine. I think our favorite was Red Mountain in Phuket followed by Banyon in Hua Hin and then Black Mountain. Black Mountain is great, but Banyon didn’t have any of the residential development that Black Mountain has so Banyon was really pretty and quiet in the valley. In ChiangMai we really liked ChiangMai Highlands and in Bangkok, the Alpine Club was awesome.
The caddies were great. I think they liked having to caddie for a women instead of the Japanese men. I even had one come and hug me twice at the end of the round in addition to the traditional Thai bow.
Again, thanks for your efforts in organizing a great trip for us and I will definitely keep you in mind for our next journey.
Regards,
Sandy Tougas
