The trip was a great success and everything went like clockwork as usual.  The courses were great (bury me at Black Mountain when my time comes!) and we enjoyed catching all the local flavour of Hua Hin.   Banyan and BM were the golf highlights.

 

We were expecting it to be a bit of a chore not being at a Shenzen/Hainan type of resort where all the golf gear was taken care of and prepared for the next day, but to be honest it wasn’t a problem at all.  The resort staff and drivers were great in looking after the gear and getting it to and from pro-shops.

 

We spent most nights in the middle of Hua Hin enjoying the food, markets, bars and all the locals who we found friendly and helpful.  Getting around was as easy as you predicted and the fact the resort was a couple of miles out of the centre was no hassle at all.  The resort itself was top-notch.

 

We’re slowly starting to think about next year and apart from the longer travel times involved I must say I’m leaning towards the US or Canada.  Plenty of time to figure it out so we’ll keep you posted!  In the meantime, once again many thanks for your help this year - it’s been as slick and accurate as always and we certainly couldn’t have done it all ourselves.  There’s a lot to be said for “all you gotta do is get there” and having everything else taken care of.
